How Big Is Rob The Robot? A Look At His Dimensions

Rob the robot, officially known as R.O.B., is a pretty compact fellow. He stands at a height of 24 cm (9.6 in), making him just a bit taller than a standard ruler.

While he may be small, Rob has a surprising amount of movement. His head can tilt 45° horizontally, allowing him to look around with ease. His arms are even more impressive, boasting a 240° range of motion left and right. That means he can rotate his arms almost all the way around his body! He can also move his arms up and down 7 cm (2.75 in), with six different stopping points. And if that wasn’t enough, he can also open and close his hands, with a 7 cm (2.75 in) gap between them when they’re fully extended.

All of this movement makes Rob a very versatile robot. He can interact with his environment in many different ways, and his small size means he can fit into tight spaces that other robots might not be able to reach. So, while Rob may be small, he’s certainly not lacking in capability.
