Hi, I’m Rhys, and I’m 25 years old. I’m autistic.

Being autistic is a part of who I am, and it’s something I embrace. It gives me a unique perspective on the world and allows me to think differently. Autism is a spectrum, meaning that it affects people in different ways. Some people with autism might have difficulty with social interaction or sensory processing, while others might have exceptional skills in areas like math, art, or music. It’s important to remember that everyone on the spectrum is an individual with their own strengths and challenges.

Autistic people have a unique way of experiencing the world, and I believe that diversity is something to celebrate. We see the world in a way that neurotypical people might not, and we often have a different way of processing information. This can be a strength in many situations, allowing us to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions.

It’s also important to acknowledge that autistic people sometimes face challenges in a world that is not always designed with their needs in mind. There are times when I might need extra support or understanding, and that’s perfectly okay. By being open and honest about my experience, I hope to contribute to a more inclusive society that values neurodiversity.
